What is the difference between membership and insurance?
IICT Membership provides you professional recognition and credibility for your complementary therapy practice. IICT Membership grants you access to exclusive rates with our insurance partners. Insurance is a separate product to membership and is not included in your membership fee. Insurance provides protection from claims a client may make against you.
Is IICT an insurance broker?
No, IICT is a professional membership body, not an insurance broker. IICT has partnered with insurance brokers to provide exclusive policy rates to our members.
Although IICT Membership provides access to insurance, membership and insurance are two separate products.
Can I purchase insurance with IICT’s partners without IICT Membership?
No, you must have an active IICT Membership to purchase insurance with our recommended partners in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. Your membership must remain current for your insurance policy to be active.
How do I find out if my insurance is current?
Log in to the IICT Members Portal to view your insurance policy details.
Where can I find my insurance documents and tax invoice?
Log in to the IICT Members Portal to download your insurance certificate, financial services guide, policy wording, schedule and tax invoice. If you have purchased additional insurance products directly from BMS, please contact them on iict@bmsgroup.com to request copies of these policy documents.
